Sister Patricia

Updated: Dec 16, 2021

Sister Patricia is 2014 16h big bodied OTTB mare by Desert Party, out of a Stephen Got Even mare. I have really enjoyed my Desert Party horses in the past as they have all been very straightforward and amateur friendly, fancy on the flat, easy to live with types that just always want to do the right thing. This lovely lady fits that mold. She comes from wonderful connections that leave their horses wanting for nothing. Patti has a decent race record, proving she's one that will always come out willing to work and try her best, and able to stay sound doing so. Patti didn't disappoint in her first ride, she was a perfect lady for everything that was asked of her. She's polite, obedient, and honest. She has a soft snaffle mouth and was willing to stretch into the contact almost immediately. Patti has a very steady tempo with a good ground covering stride. She will have no problems making the distances in a line. We sent her through the jump chute and she was brave without rushing through things. You could watch her think through what was being asked and gave a nice soft quiet jump. She had a great technique and is just going to get better as her education is furthered. Patti retained everything that we worked on from her first ride and worked even better for her second ride. This mare is going to be very easy and quick study. She's very easy to live with in the barn. Patti stood perfectly for the farrier even being hot shod for the first time. She is sound with no vices. RRP eligible. Located in Flushing Michigan. Mid four figures.
