Rico Capote

Rico Capote is a 2009 16.1h OTTB gelding. This super classy warhorse is as kind and genuine as they come. This guy is an old style TB, think warmblood type build. He is an absolute pleasure in every respect. Rico was extremely polite during his first post track ride, he stood at the mounting block and did everything that was asked of him. He has three correct and quality gaits, is forward thinking but very respctful of a snaffle. This horse is all business under tack and just wants to please. We sent him through the jump chute and he impressed us with his scope and technique. I'm a firm believer that you cannot beat a good warhorse and Rico proves that. Rico wants someone who will be kind and give him a lot of peppermints, he's a bit of a sensitive soul and enjoys someones with a quiet and soft hand to handle him. Rico wants to follow all of the rules and always be a good boy. He is sound with no vices. He did have a tendon early on in his career, but has consistently raced on it without any issues and it should not limit his ability whatsoever. He turns out well with others. Rico is RRP eligible.
