Mima’s Miracle

Updated: Sep 30

Mima’s Miracle is 2016 16.2h OTTB mare. I absolutely love this mare! She has been owned, broke, and galloped at the track by her breeders. She has been started correctly, and is super easy to put together. This mare has a lovely butter soft mouth, moves off of your seat and leg right into your hand. She is green but extremely straightforward and uncomplicated. Mima is intelligent with a fabulous work ethic, always trying to do whatever is asked of her. This is the type that makes people love mares. She has three fabulous gaits, with her canter being my favorite. We sent her through the jump chute and she immediately figured out the task. She has a very careful and tidy jump. Mima pricked her ears to the jumps and adjusted her stride to find an easy distance. This is going to be a mare that hunts the flags on a XC course and finds that fifth leg when things get tough or she’s tired. She hacked out on a loose rein and was nothing but sensible when horses in a near pasture came running up to greet her. I cannot say enough good things about this mare! Mima did have tie back surgery as a 2 yr old. She does not make any noise while working and it will not inhibit her performance career. If you are interested in this mare, please only inquire if you are willing to keep her breeders updated on her progress. They like to be able to follow all of their racing retirees into second careers. While Mima is straightforward, I would definitely suggest her to be in a program to continue to develop her since she is only lightly restarted. She is appropriate for a junior or amateur to bring along. She is sound with no vices. High fours. Located in Flushing Michigan. Please pm for more information.
