Karuizawa

Karuizawa is a 2018 Japan filly that should mature close to 17h. She is unraced but has published works so she is RRP eligible. Her race trainer did not winter her as she didn't show enough speed in her training to continue on with her. This filly is incredibly sweet and easy to live with. I have bought four Japan fillies at the end of the meet last year, and I have loved all of his offspring. They are super athletic, great movers, sweet and kind, have great feet, and fantastic temperaments. I turned this filly out after buying because she was (and still is) growing quite a bit. I have free lunged her and sent her through the jump chute where she impressed me with her smart and brave attitude that was coupled with a stellar jump. She has plenty of scope and a super lovely brain. This filly has quite the future ahead of her and would even be appropriate for an ammy or first restart. She is currently barefoot as well. She is not yet restarted under saddle. Sound with no vices. She does have an old, cold set splint, that is not reactive to palpation. Located in Flushing, Michigan.
