Guy American Dream

I’m going to start this out by saying this is my personal horse and I will be extremely picky about where he goes. I have jumped Guy and while he’s a great jumper, he prefers speed type events. I had initially intended to do barrels with him at RRP, for the 20/21 Mega Makeover, but there weren’t enough hours in the day to get three horses ready for the makeover, manage my resales, show my personal horses, and all of life’s other responsibilities. Guy does not have to go anywhere, but he would really love to have a job, and I just don’t have the time to dedicate to a completely different discipline.

Guy American Dream is a 2015 15.2h OTTB gelding. You must enjoy the hot quirky weirdo types, and I say that very lovingly, in order to appreciate a horse like Guy. He is fast, think QH fast with TB stamina, and can turn on a dime. Guy is extremely smart and will pick up quickly on the task at hand. This is a horse that takes a breath and settles mentally at speed. He is not going to be your beginner’s trail horse. He has been sitting on the back burner through not fault of his own, I just don’t have enough hours in the day. Please don’t inquire if you won’t keep me updated on his progress. He did sustain an injury during racing and was properly and slowly rehabbed. It will cause no limitations and no maintenance. All vet records will be made available, including radiographs. He is sound with no vices and no breathing issues. He’s not a bucker, rearer, or bolter. He has brakes but prefers speed events versus dressage and jumping. He will require a home with a jolly ball and toys, as well as someone that will play with his lips and gums, I warned you he was a weirdo. Located in Flushing Michigan. Mid fours.
