Chillinwithfriends

Chillinwithfriends is a 2016 16h big bodied OTTB mare by Friend or Foe, out of a Harlan's Holiday mare. She is old school breeding and has a lot of bone and substance. I couldn't wait for this filly to retire because she is by the same sire as one of my favorite sale horses, Wacky Pal, that was purchased by one of my clients. Wacky most recently was 10th overall in eventing at RRP, 5th for amateurs, and won the Pony Club award with his young rider. Chillin had some pretty big shoes to fill because I think the world of Wacky, and she has not disappointed. I turned her out in the indoor to have a leg stretch and loved how fancy she was. She has a big floaty trot, and a 10 canter. We sent her through the jump chute and she was extremely brave and intelligent. She immediately figured out what was being asked of her and kept lunging herself through the chute. I have zero doubts that she will find jumping as effortless as Wacky has with a continued education (see posted picture of Wacky jumping six months into his restart). For her first post track ride, I had a blast. Chillin in the type that wants to be ridden forward into a soft hand. She finds it very easy to stay balanced and uphill, soft in the mouth, with good impulsion from behind. This mare is an eventer's dream. I am just as smitten with this mare as I am with Wacky. I believe she has a very bright future and is a true UL prospect. There is nothing complicated about Chillin and she would be suitable for an amateur or junior in a program. Chillin retired sound with clean legs. She has no vices. RRP eligible. Located in Flushing Michigan. Mid four figures.
